As a Front Office Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring each guest’s arrival and departure is seamless and memorable.
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the arrival and departure experience of our guests, act on their needs during the stay and exceed their expectations. You will be reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, and you will be part of the Front Office team, which is running the Front Desk, At Your Service concept, guest Relation, Concierge and Bell Service.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Taking shifts in the Front Office departments overseeing Front Office operations and upholding quality standards.
• Providing outstanding guest service by anticipating needs and facilitating conversations.
• Assisting with reservations, upselling services, and promoting the Marriott Bonvoy Rewards Program.
• Ensuring effective communication accross all departments to keep everyone informed about daily operation.
• Handling cash procedures, payments, and currency exchanges.
• Training and mentoring team members while promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Supporting management with new initiatives and adhering to safety standards and brand standards.
• Acting as the Property Manager on Duty when necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in 4 or 5-star hotels.
• Exceptional communication skills in English.
• A strong customer service mindset with a passion for hospitality.
• A positive attitude, honesty, loyalty, and a genuine smile.
• Detail-oriented and a team player, ready to contribute to a vibrant team environment.
• Experience with the Opera property management system or similar.
Working Hours:
A combination of morning, evening, and occasional night shifts. Weekend shifts every other weekend are required. We follow the Collective agreement, so you are ensured all rules are followed according to pay, time off, vacation etc.
