The Digital Experience team at SOUNDBOKS is a part of the Commercial organisation. The team focuses on building our owned platforms, both the website and the mobile app, and ensures delivering the best possible and harmonious digital experience to our customers.
As a Frontend Engineer at SOUNDBOKS, you will be a part of a team consisting of developers, a QA engineer and designers in order to implement a cohesive UI/UX across the platforms, including the mobile app. It’s a dynamic role where the eye for design comes in handy and your natural instinct for fine-tuning will help solidify future solutions. The chance to switch between different projects will also make sure it’s not a stand-still kind of a job. - Collaborating with UX/UI designers on creating design systems while maintaining consistency across projects.
- Translating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into high-quality code.
- Making good use of and extending our component libraries while ensuring efficient implementation of UI together with the whole team.
Create, maintain and guide frontend solutions within the team and toward the wider organisation.
- Working with a team of engineers to maintain and improve our React Native app, while allowing and intergating the control of the SOUNDBOKS devices through the app.
- Ad-hoc assisting with the maintenance of our web shop where front-end expertise is needed, ensuring continued ease of use of CMS for our content specialists.
- Ensuring our public-facing UI implementations meet accessibility (a11y) standards where required.
- Adapting best practices from our QA engineer in ensuring well tested features and key user-flows across the projects you are a part of.
Cross functional Collaboration and Support
- Collaborating with stakeholders and engineers from product and other commercial teams in implementing frontend solutions that fit their use cases.
- Helping with documenting the solutions and feature definitions, in order to ensure easy maintenance and continuous improvement in the future.
- Help drive our agile way of working, allowing for efficient processes around our projects.
