Your Mission

In this hybrid role as a Sales Executive and temporary Team Lead, with the possibility of a permanent leadership role after 1 year, you will be part of the Sales Organization and report to the VP Sales. You will play a pivotal role in our sales team, working towards capturing opportunities in the thriving and expansive Latvian and Lithuanian market.

Your primary responsibility will be to drive new sales and up-sales, while also taking on team lead responsibility for both Latvia and Lithuania during a one-year maternity leave cover. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to sales growth while developing your leadership skills.

Core Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect and engage with key decision-makers to drive business growth.
  • Manage prospects and clients to build and nurture relationships.
  • Manage the complete sales and upselling process, from initial contact to deal closure onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date sales records and routinely update the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about the Latvian public procurement market, using industry insights to fuel sales strategies and growth.
  • Lead and inspire sales teams in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, ensuring alignment with Mercell’s sales strategies during the temporary team lead period.

Required Qualifications

  • (Ideally 2-3 years) experience in digital sales and high drive for results with documented achievements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Native in Latvian language and fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience from high-velocity sales.
  • Knowledge of the public procurement market in Latvia and Lithuania is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills.
