Senior React Developer (with Next.js)

Digital Experience Team
We are looking for a Senior React Developer (with Next.js) to join the project team in the Digital Experience department. You will join a team of highly qualified colleagues and apply your skills in defining, building, and maintaining modern online services.
As part of the project team, you will:
- Take part in all project activities
- Provide your recommendations and ideas during scoping and planning activities
- Contribute to writing code to deliver Backlog items
- Help team to achieve sprint goals, waves deliverables and target launch date
- Communicate with Stakeholders and other business users on requirements
- Work in a truly Agile set-up, where flexibility and feedback are in focus
What is required:
- Experience in designing and implementing complex front-end solutions
- Hands-on experience with React
- Experience with Server-Side Rendering framework (Next.JS)
- Couple of years of relevant production experience with front-end JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Strong depth of knowledge in JavaScript and intelligence to leverage existing libraries
- Hands-on experience developing applications that meet WCAG Accessibility standard
- Provide guidance and perform code reviews for contributors of various levels, whilst maintaining a high level of code quality across the front-end
- With your ability to communicate clearly and effectively, you will find frequent interaction with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors an integral part of your role in a distributed team setup
- You are fluent in English and feel confident to work in a cross-cultural and distributed environment
- You have experience and feel comfortable working in a truly agile atmosphere
Desirable:
- Experience with build/bundle tools (gulp, webpack, vite)
- Experience with Sitecore, SFCC or any other API-based (headless) CMS
- Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns and automated testing (unit, integration)
- Experience with CI tools (e.g. Azure Pipelines, Jenkins)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Frontend performance optimization
