A position that will take your development further
We are seeking two students to join our team and work with colleagues across departments and external stakeholders. Your primary role will be to support the implementation of a new system for third-party risk and ESG assessment. We’re looking for someone who understands systems and processes, enjoys working with data, and is enthusiastic about sustainability. As part of our Sustainable Procurement and Premises team, you will contribute to developing tools and processes that enhance transparency and sustainability in our supply chain, ensure the quality of environmental data, and support workplace services projects across the organisation. You will report to the Head of Sustainable Procurement and Premises and work from COWI’s office in Lyngby, Denmark.
Your main tasks will be:
- Lead the onboarding, follow-up, and analysis of suppliers regarding risk and ESG assessments.
- Develop reports to share progress with stakeholders, showcasing status, progress, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal vendor managers to develop corrective action plans.
- Incorporate ESG factors into procurement processes and assist with implementing an ESG data collection tool, along with developing ESG data collection and control tasks.
- Provide support for ad hoc projects related to sustainable workplace services, allowing for hands-on experience across diverse tasks.
You will work 15-20 hours per week with flexible hours during exams and busy study periods. This is your chance to make an impact in our supply chain while building your professional skills.

We envision you as a motivated bachelor’s or master’s student who has at least 1,5 years left in your studies. As a person, you are open-minded and curious, with strong relationship-building skills. You thrive in collaborative environments but can also work independently, taking ownership of your tasks. You have strong analytical skills that help you effectively tackle challenges and stay organized.
On top of that, you will have:
- System understanding with the ability to make sense of data.
- An analytical and improvement-focused mindset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
