To drive our growth strategy and strengthen our market position, VMS Group A/S is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in a newly established position to lead our Sales and Marketing department in our HQ in Frederikshavn, Denmark.

The key focus areas for our new CCO are:
As CCO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial direction of VMS Group A/S. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop the Sales and Marketing team in Denmark which includes 20 professional and dedicated employees supported by 3 middle managers and ensure alignment with corporate goals and strategies.
- Formulate and implement sales strategies that drive growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Set and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales targets, ensuring the company achieves its commercial objectives.
- Work closely with other members of the management team to deliver integrated and effective business solutions.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships to support sustainable growth.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to ensure long-term collaboration.
- Inspire and mentor a high-performing sales team, cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- 40-50 travel days
We expect you to have the following qualifications:
- Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role, such as Sales Director or equivalent.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a team to exceed expectations.
- Strong strategic thinking and business development capabilities, with a results-driven mindset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the maritime industry or comparable sectors.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to navigating dynamic market conditions.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial management, and sales performance analysis.
- Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
