In your new position as Telecom Engineer in the Technology Solutions division, you will join a multicultural, diverse team of skilled, enthusiastic telecommunication specialists from all over the world. Together with your dedicated colleagues, you will create, design and develop critical communication systems for the offshore energy industry. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector. our primary work location will be in our Gdynia (Poland) office with regular visits to our head office in Esbjerg (Denmark).
The job will also involve some travelling to other Semco Maritime offices, sub-suppliers and occasional to sites. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10 days per year.

As a Telecom Design Engineer, you will design and engineer state-of-the-art telecom solutions. Each project is tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge, customized solutions.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Design and engineering of telecom solutions for our energy customers.
- Participate in project teams designing and engineering of Telecom Systems in cooperation with other team members and specialists.
- Responsible for securing technical requirements and interfaces from internal and external stakeholder within deadlines.
- Perform programming and configurations of telecom systems at our facilities.
- Perform and participate in execution and sign-off of factory (FAT) and site (SAT) tests with end customers, aligned and according to the overall project plan.

Key criteria for success:
You are a detail-oriented and structured engineer with a curious and analytical mindset. In addition, you have a proactive and organised approach to your work and thrive in a workday with lots of variation and teamwork.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
- A degree in electronic, telecommunications engineering or similar.
- Fluency in English, verbal and written, since we work in an international environment
- Good technical writing skills.
- Good analytical skills
- Be a project minded person

Professional competences:
We expect you have a relevant technical education as bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic/telecom/software engineer or similar with some years of experience in telecom or network design and preferable knowledge from offshore energy systems or the marine sector.
Expect you to have a clear analytic mindset and a systematic approach to solving problems. Likewise, we also expect, that you are experienced in writing design documents of various kind all the way from high level design to test procedure.
Your telecom experience can be from a few years to several years as we expect to expand with both a junior and more senior telecom engineers.
You will be working in close cooperation with other technical disciplines (not only telecom); therefore, we expect you to have open mind and interest to the challenges facing these disciplines.
