This role is perfect for a self-starting sales professional looking to join a growth-stage scaling business, and be a part of supporting that growth and your career. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager, Nordics, and be part of a successful Sales team currently working with some of the biggest brands in the market.
The role
As a Senior Sales Executive at Playable, you will be working closely with the Danish Sales team tasked with creating and developing new customer relationships. It’s a new business ‘hunter’ focused role, and you will be prospecting potential customers and owning the sales process; taking them from initial discussions to contract agreements.
We aim to become trusted business advisors who are able to see customers’ challenges in the wider context of their business. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be primarily prospecting our target market of the Marketing function, and as such will find yourself running calls, meetings and correspondence with various levels of the business from C-suite down, and different roles such as marketing, CRM, loyalty, e-commerce, digital and social media.
As we offer a new and disruptive technology that competes with the ‘traditional’ strategic marketing approach, it is important that you have the confidence to both understand and challenge customers’ views in the way they work today and clarify the potential value playable marketing can bring to them. Your role would involve inspiring and creating concepts for our clients, to increase the usage and frequency of campaigns being built through our platform.
As this is a senior role, we will also be screening for your ability to mentor and guide team members and peers.
The Role Includes
- Prospecting – using calls, emails, meetings and presentations to prospect and sell to new ICP customers
- Planning, project managing and recording your output activity, network expansion and new customers
- Managing multiple discussions with different levels of an organisation - thinking creatively and innovating the way we attract ICP customers to work with us
- Inbound lead management - connecting and following up on allocated inbound leads to meeting conversion
- Mentoring and guiding team members and peers
- Documenting feedback for the product and process to continuously improve the effectiveness of the whole sales approach
The Ideal Profile
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand customers’ business needs
- Hands-on strategic B2B sales experience, preferably within SaaS or Martech. Alternatively digital marketing solutions and E-commerce - giving you flair for conveying and selling software, media, digital, social, and tech in general
- Essential that you keep up-to-date with trends in marketing and understand the digital space
- Driven and self-motivated and the desire to work in a high-performance culture with continual development
- A structured mindset and the ability to follow structured approaches to sales and delivery
- Full professional proficiency in Danish and English.
Experience with the MEDDIC sales methodology, and experience selling to the Norwegian and Swedish market is a plus (but not a must).
