At AutoProff, we are looking for a new UI/UX Designer to become a cornerstone in reshaping the future of online car trading. You’ll primarily be based at our HQ in Vejle, with the potential to work from home a few days each week. Your expertise will be vital in designing responsive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user interaction within the automotive industry.

About the role
As the new UI/UX Designer on our team, you'll be working under the mentorship of our UX Team Lead who values precision, consistency, and collaboration. Your work will directly contribute to our product’s success, ensuring that every design decision aligns with user needs, design principles and business goals.

You will be expected to take ownership of tasks, from wireframing to high-fidelity mockups, all while adhering to best practices and working efficiently within our processes.

Let's dive into your key responsibilities, you will

• Work with qualitative insights, conducting user interviews and usability testing to guide your design decisions and inform future iterations
• Help build up and optimize a set-up for gathering quantitative insights
• Collaborate closely with the UX Team Lead to align on design goals, ensuring they are met with precision and detail
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including developers and product managers—to bring designs to life and ensure alignment with business goals
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, with a focus on iterative improvements as we refine our understanding of the user experience
• Adhere to a consistent and scalable design system, improving design cohesion across different platforms as the team grows
• Continuously gather feedback from users and stakeholders, iterating on designs based on both data and evolving business objectives

The need-to-have skills

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design for both web and mobile platforms
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar (we use Figma)
• Solid understanding of design systems and how they contribute to creating scalable, user-friendly interfaces
• Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
• Fluent in Danish and English

The nice-to-have skills

• Familiarity with front-end development processes
• Background in designing for b2b experiences within the car industry
• German language skills are a plus
