Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?
This is a great opportunity to have a job involving a variety of responsibilities that are everchanging in line with current and future business needs in GPS. You will become a focal point in GPS and for stakeholders across the Lundbeck value chain and externally. The exact mix of tasks will vary and depend on the candidate and the business needs as they evolve.
- Pharmacovigilance agreements incl Data Privacy agreements with our business partners. This involves the full “contract management cycle” incl drafting, negotiating, signature process, implementing, archiving and updating of agreements.
- Collaboration and oversight with our PV service providers. This includes maintaining our contract management system / partner database and other KPI, budgeting and oversight mechanisms.
- Tasks related to legal PV requirements from national authorities globally. This involves both daily monitoring and categorization of information and the collaborating with rest of team, GPS and other stakeholders to ensure implementation and adjustments of various systems and procedures.
- Other tasks in Projects & Partnering and GPS as needed and ongoing support the organization and work in close collaboration with your colleagues.

You have the prospects of joining a diverse team of 8 dedicated colleagues who take pride in driving operational excellence and compliance with the purpose of safeguarding the health of the patients taking our medicines. We create value through project management; partner and vendor management and via keeping oversight of third party deliverables. We also help the organisation develop better ways of working, e.g. agile mindset initiatives, and we support GPS on data privacy activities.
Projects & Partnering is part of the GPS organisation within Lundbeck Research & Development (R&D). GPS is responsible for the safety (pharmacovigilance) of patients using our medicinal products globally. We consist of approximately 100 dedicated colleagues working together in one global team across Denmark, Singapore, and the US.
The Projects & Partnering department is located in Valby, Denmark, and supports all our GPS sites. This position is based in Valby, Denmark.

What you bring to the team
While your specific educational background is not decisive, we do expect you to have a formal higher education at Master level or equivalent.
A minimum of 2-3 years professional experience from pharma is needed. Understanding and experience with the operations of patient safety / pharmacovigilance systems or similar regulated areas is highly desired (e.g. from clinical operations, regulatory affairs, CRO, Biotech).
The ideal candidate also has experience with PV legislation and PV partner and vendor management.
Adaptability where you are flexible and embrace change comes natural to you. You are accountable and take ownership for your own development and tasks assigned to you. Being proactive, responsible and follow-through on tasks is a “must-have” competence. Personal integrity, curiosity, good communication and stakeholder management skills are needed.
Other key competencies is ability to create simplicity in processes; use risk-based approach; productivity understanding and applying a “Enterprise mindset” with the ability to create results that go beyond the immediate function and process.
