Join us in an exciting and challenging role as Business Finance Analyst at our Head Office in Hørsholm, where you will be part of a team supporting the Products & Innovation organization globally.

We offer
A very interesting role, where you will join the the energetic and fun Global Finance team.

You will be based in our Head Office in Hørsholm and working closely together with our new Innovation Center in Østbirk, and in our regional offices around Europe and the US - so some travel can occur.

As part of strengthening the execution power in our Products & Innovation Finance team, we are looking for talents to drive analysis, projects and develop insights that can support our Innovation and R&D departments in VELUX.

In this new role you will support the global organization with a variety of tasks from streamlining processes, to creating insights and supporting on adhoc requests.

The job will provide you with a broad exposure to many elements across the Finance and Performance Management toolbox.

Key responsibilities
You will report directly to Finance Director for Products & Innovation, who is part of the Global Finance leadership team.

The Global Finance area is characterized by a dynamic and international working environment with constant focus on driving impact for VELUX and developing our employees.

Specifically, as Business Finance Analyst you will:

• Develop and support the KPI setting process, and annual financial planning and target setting process for Products & innovation
• Support with financial reporting on major innovation projects that go to the Executive Management team and Board.
• Create global templates and advanced excel models that can be used by the Project Managers in Products & Innovation to size opportunities, develop business cases and keep track of resource allocation on projects.
• Support the rest of the Finance Products & Innovation team with ad hoc requests for analysis on major innovation projects ongoing.
• With the Finance Director for Products & Innovation, drive process optimization, cross functional reporting and project controlling processes.
• Develop key insights on Products & Innovation performance and identify areas for improvement.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate hold a degree within Business Economics, Finance or similar combined with a few years of experience in a relevant Finance and Performance Management Function preferably from a global company.

Your strong interest and experience within finance and performance management, your analytical mindset and your ability to build relationships and communicate with various stakeholders across the organisation will lead you to succeed in this role.

Moreover you have a natural curiosity to understand our business and the way we operate. Others perceive you as proactive and ambitious, with a strong desire to advance and develop both professionally and personally.

Furthermore, you:

• Are a proficient user of SAP, MS Office and other relevant platforms
• Are proficient in English both written and spoken
• Possess excellent analytical problem-solving skills and be able work on several projects or tasks at the same time
• Are passionate about making a difference, and understand how to drive performance through insight, cooperation and aspirations.
