The Position
We are looking for a dynamic and assertive leader to join our team as the EHS & Construction Safety Manager. In this role, you will take charge of creating safe, sustainable, and compliant work environments in our major building site projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of safety strategies and processes for construction safety on building sites.
- Serve as a key point of contact for EHS stakeholders, ensuring effective communication with EHS networks and external partners.
- Drive initiatives aligned with the Circular for Zero Strategy and NN sustainability goals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, focusing on fire safety, construction safety, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Build and lead a strong team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment with direct communication while managing multiple priorities effectively.
This position is based in Odense.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ management experience in one or more of the following areas: Nature and Circular for Zero strategies, EHS & Design, Construction safety on building sites.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to assertively influence and manage stakeholders.
- A proactive and resilient attitude, thriving in direct and dynamic communication settings.
- A proven ability to make an impact and set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (Danish is a plus).

About the department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions, a newly established and growing area within Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). Our team is responsible for designing, planning, and building major fill & finish expansion projects across Novo Nordisk. We are dedicated to serving the needs of millions of patients by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. With a global approach, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
