As a Mechanical Engineer at DIS/CREADIS, you’ll enjoy a dynamic workday contributing to designing and developing solutions that balance technical performance with environmental responsibility. Whether working from our offices or on-site with customers, you’ll collaborate across industries, and sustainability will guide your decision-making throughout the development process, ensuring that materials, processes, and life cycle impacts are considered. You will be a part of our Mechanics department where you will gain more than 50 colleagues and can be located at either our Kolding or Stilling office.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a relevant degree, ideally focused on sustainability. You bring experience in specification, design, testing, and documentation, and you’re ready to tackle diverse projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing sustainable and circular products that meet regulatory standards.
- Applying life cycle perspectives to materials, components, and products.
- Staying informed on sustainability regulations and integrating them into your work.
- Designing and simulating mechanical systems while collaborating with software and electronics teams.
- Conducting testing, verification, and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) aligned with Eco-design principles.
- Presenting results and communicating sustainability concepts clearly.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:
- Energy-efficient design and sustainable material selection.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and sustainable production techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as Eco-design and directives like REACH, RoHS, and WEEE.
