You will play an important role in:
As a Specialist in Green Fuel Supply Systems, you will be at the forefront of the evolving field of gas systems for diesel engines. Your primary responsibilities will include being a key player in designing gas systems tailored to individual ship types and operational profiles. You will provide technical assistance to shipyards, engine builders, shipping companies, consultants, and subcontractors
You will:
- Design, optimize, and consult on gas supply systems
- Respond to project inquiries from yards and engine builders, conduct competitor analyses, and make informed comparisons
- Maintain and prepare P&I diagrams, capacity lists, and project documentation
- Design and specify systems and components for specific projects where our company is responsible for delivery
- Participate in customer meetings, involving some travel activity (2-4 weeks annually)
We imagine that you:
- Have a M.Sc. degree in mechanical, process, or energy engineering or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of processes, thermodynamics, and experience with steady state or dynamic simulation software
- Familiarity with gas and/or gas installations (LNG, ethane, methanol, LPG and/or ammonia) is advantageous
- Proactive, creative, and eager to influence the development of gas operation in two-stroke marine engines
- Analytical, systematic, and persistent with good in English communicating skills
- Experienced within various IT systems and solid IT knowledge
