We are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join us in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What is in it for you
You will join the Credit Risk team, a small, specialised team who is part of the Risk Management department consisting of 18 colleagues from various educational backgrounds and nationalities.

The Risk Management department is responsible for several areas ranging from sanctions risk, security risk and credit risk to market risk and the continued development of our internally developed risk system. We also monitor and manage fuel oil and emission risks for all the commercial departments.

Credit risk specifically is a core part of our risk framework, where we continuously adjust our risk profile to provide the best overall returns.

The Credit Risk team is responsible for providing financial analysis of our commercial counterparties and helping the commercial departments to make better decisions.

Operating worldwide, our counterparties are spread across the globe, covering just about every industry from the big mining corporations to the one-person commodity trader.

The tasks that await you
As our future Credit Risk Analyst, you will, together with the rest of the team, be responsible for tasks such as:

• Financial analysis of our commercial counterparties.

• Data quality assurance in our customer relationship system.

• Reporting risk use, monitoring risk limits, and taking part in commercial discussions when relevant.

• Ensuring our Power BI reports are up to date, always reflecting the needs of our organisation.

Your competencies and core qualifications
We are looking for a colleague who is naturally curious and enjoys collaboration and innovative ways of working. Further, to thrive in this position, you should be able to tick off the following:

• You recently graduated or have a few years of experience in Risk Management or a related field.

• You communicate analyses in a straightforward and easy-to-understand way.

• You hold a master's degree in Economics, Finance or other relevant areas.

• You are critical and possess good analytical skills.

• You can relate technical elements to a business setting

You will enroll in a team responsible for risk management of all NORDEN’s business units worldwide and you can expect some traveling to our offices abroad.

You will report directly to the Head of Risk Management.
