The Position
As the Utility and HVAC Manager for Expansion Projects, your key to success will be your ability to establish a network of strategic collaboration partners within our SVP area and across our global Fill & Finish sites. Together with these collaboration partners you will lead the process of defining the roadmap for the establishment of your new utility team.

You will be heading up a team of highly specialized professionals and project managers within the Fill & Finish Expansions for major capacity expansion projects. The success of your work, to drive the technology standards within your team areas of expertise will be vital to the success of our SVP area and Novo Nordisk.

Your role will consist of the following responsibilities:

• Line Manager for the Utility team.
• Driving process to achieve key strategic decisions.
• Securing collaboration with site managers and main sub-suppliers.
• Securing Vendor Management and Financial Management via Project Managers and PMOs.
• Communication to the CVP area management team.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with an academic degree in the relevant field, ideally combined with strong technical knowledge and leadership experience.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• 5+ years of managerial experience
• Technical knowledge of the major utility systems such as clean utility and HVAC
• Demonstrated ability to shape and execute on a strategy in a complex international environment
• Cross cultural awareness and experience in working with international stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in oral and written English.

In terms of personal characteristics, you are known for being a natural leader and an empathic team player with a can-do attitude and you show resilience and stamina when things don’t go your way. Furthermore, you have a very strong ability to build relations on all levels in an international organization. Given the nature of your new department, we expect that you have a good process understanding and a systematic and structured mindset.

About the Department
Utility & HVAC Systems is a department in Fill & Finish Expansions which is anchored within Product Supply, which globally accounts for +23,000 of Novo Nordisk’s +69,000 employees. The responsibility of Fill & Finish Expansions is to plan and execute the establishment of new aseptic filling capacity across the global manufacturing network while ensuring harmonisation and global standards.

Across the different roles there is a distinct global aspect as the end goal is a global standard and best practice, and working with multiple sites, cultures and traditions will be a key element.
