Can you drive global, strategic improvement projects on health and safety across production sites in the LEGO Group? Do you have passion for and insight into production and engineering?

This role is an excellent opportunity to join a team working cross-functionally with global responsibility for health and safety.

Core responsibilities
As Senior EHS Manager you will foster collaboration through a global network of health and safety specialists, developing best practices for health and safety across the LEGO production sites. Moreover, you will.

  • Lead the development of global processes, tools, and guidelines and ensure these are calibrated, understood and implemented on all the production sites
  • Conduct global training for health and safety specialists, encouraging an inclusive learning environment.
  • Continuously acquire new insights within health and safety through updated knowledge and external benchmarking to compete and stay ahead in the industry.

You will join the Global Health and Safety team of 25 dedicated employees.

We act as a corporate function, setting direction and ambition regarding health and safety within the LEGO Group. We drive standardization and globalization of best practices globally, striving towards zero accidents.

Collaborating across cultures and time zones requires a holistic understanding, facilitating the development of the most suitable solution. Acting in this global role requires a good end-to-end understanding of the company to be successful.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Health and Safety in a global production company.
  • Technical background, equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
  • Proven experience in a diverse organization with daily collaboration across cultures and time zones.
  • Outstanding collaborator who puts the ‘customer’ needs first, understanding that achieving team goals consists of several compromises.
  • Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, with the ability to convert legal requirements into internal requirements that can be understood by colleagues and suppliers.
  • Result Orientation – Drive and track results, pushing for constant improvements in projects and team activities, ensuring progress and success.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking – Finding alternatives and innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30 days per year.
