Quality Excellence Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for coordinating our quality management system and processes and managing a continuous improvement culture, thereby minimizing risk during growth and ensuring a standardized way of planning, executing, and operating across the business value chain.
Welcome to QHSE Region Americas
You’ll be part of the QHSE Region Americas Business Excellence team where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure QHSE processes are integrated into our Quality Management framework and are appropriately represented in our QHSE Management System. You will coordinate a culture of quality excellence (systems, processes, behaviours, and accountability) by ensuring that Quality processes are aligned with other areas of Ørsted and ensuring that affected personnel and stakeholders are educated on the processes and held accountable to fulfil them. As a team, we foster a QHSE culture of continuous improvement supporting our operations in the Region Americas.
You’ll play an important role in:
- acting as a subject matter expert in quality matters
- driving a culture of quality excellence (systems, processes, behaviours, and accountability) through Region Americas
- ensuring that quality process ownership and culture are embedded throughout development, construction, and operations in the region
- Integrating with the Project Quality Management team and providing support to reduce project and operational quality risks to as low as reasonably practicable
- monitoring and assessing specific KPIs for Quality performance against targets and carrying out process optimization that creates measurable value.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a relevant field such as Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline
- have extensive proven experience in the field of Quality Assurance, from relevant fields of industry such as manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, offshore, or energy industries
- have strong management skills and experience in implementing corporate Quality systems
- have strong management skills and experience in implementing corporate Quality systems
- are experienced in managing and driving continuous improvement.
