COWI's infrastructure discipline in Southern Denmark is known by high engagement and employee satisfaction, social cohesion and exciting challenges and tasks. We are currently 20+ colleagues in the group, spread between our Esbjerg and Vejle offices, and we also have a number of students and interns working closely with us. Our group of engineers is specialised in Bridges and Civil Structures. In close collaboration with other disciplines, we are working on significant, exciting projects such as climate protection of cities, road-, rail and path installations, and design, operation and maintenance of bridges and tunnels. We are also working on port projects. This involves both operation and maintenance tasks as well as design of new port structures, and reinforcement and expansion of existing structures. Your key activities will be:
- Leading projects from start to finish, including participation in idea and construction programmes, project proposals, authority- and tender projects, execution, delivery and follow-up
- Handling clients wishes, needs and values to contribute to a trust-based, close and professional collaboration
- Participating in resource planning and financial composition of our projects
- Playing a critical role as design/discipline lead on projects, including construction management and supervision
- Foster and contribute to a highly professional level within the discipline, and act as a mentor and sparring partner for your colleagues

You have a great drive and are motivated by creating good collaborations – both in your team and with other disciplines, as well as with customers and contractors.On top of that, you will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering
- Preferably 5-10 years’ experience with engineering, design- and project management
- Experience from another engineering consultancy is advantageous
- Strong collaboration skills, in relation to fostering solid and professional relations across disciplines, internally and externally
- Proficiency in English and Danish (or another Scandinavian language)
