The position
As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for bringing the Secondary Packaging through the development phases to implementation in production. This requires your coordination of activities covering Regulatory Labelling, Graphics, User Communication, Test laboratory, Manufacturing Development, Quality Assurance and external vendors to build the Secondary Packaging solution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as point of contact for all development activities for secondary packaging in projects
  • Plan and drive and coordinate secondary packaging development projects across the organisation
  • Coordinate, align and follow up on activities with stakeholders of various functions to secure timely deliveries incl. execution of own responsibilities
  • Report on project progress, issues and mitigations into our project governance organisation
  • Manage project documentation including budget input to stakeholders on project needs
  • Drive trade-off decisions in the project(s) with input from relevant stakeholders
  • Execute change control cases to ensure traceability and compliance
  • Test material purchasing for various purposes through development

Our activities range from a wide variety of development projects of product variants, establishing new secondary packaging platforms and support optimization projects across our secondary packaging portfolio.

The position offers possibilities for the development of your project management skills in a matrix setting during your daily tasks and activities in the project(s). Working in a cross-organisational project group ensures network and knowledge across the organisation which will enable you to further develop your competences.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed, we imagine that you have:

  • A Masters degree e.g. within engineering, Pharma, commercial, logistics or other
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry or similar regulated, process-driven industry
  • You have experience working with Pharmaceutical or Medical device development
  • Proven track record of driving projects and ensuring execution, timelines, coordination, and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Operational mindset and the ability to set a direction
  • Experience facilitating developmental processes and identifying solutions with the least trade-offs
  • Analytical and systematic mindset and are good at keeping an overview of project tasks
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

It is an advantage to have previous experience with:

  • Design Control (21 CFR 820.30, ISO 13485)
  • System Engineering and Quality Assurance

As a person, you have good interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative attitude. You have a high degree of flexibility and ability to manage simultaneous activities in several projects Overall, you are used to working in a global setting with a complex multi-cultural stakeholder landscape.

About the department
The Secondary Packaging Development Team develops the specifications of non-printed packaging material and is responsible for the overall planning of related activities and input needed to deliver fully developed packaging material in alignment with Novo Nordisk timelines. We ensure the manufacturability of the design in collaboration with suppliers and production, and we strive to develop robust and sustainable solutions. We support numerous projects with different expertise, as such, tasks lying outside the above description can also be expected. You will join a cross-functional area with dedicated and highly competent colleagues in a non-formal working environment.
