What’s in it for you? As an IT Solution Manager, you are responsible for life-cycle management of several Good Practice (GxP) critical IT systems used across departments, as well as for the implementation of smaller IT projects. You are also to ensure that the IT systems are following internal and external requirements (according to health authorities) and to ensure their validated state.

At Novo Nordisk, we have strong focus on ensuring the right level of IT compliance. We strive to simplify and standardize the management of the systems, so we expect you to systematically establish and maintain documentation, drive life-cycle management, drive installation, validation activities for and risk assessments for projects etc.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and identify new requirements to the systems

• Establish and maintain documentation, initiate and conduct IT Risk Assessments, IT Qualifications, IT Periodic System Evaluation, Deviations, change requests, User support, ensure security patching, life cycle management and more

• Take ownership of project management tasks, demonstrating the ability to effectively prioritize work and navigate complex project requirements

• Manage the expectations of system owners, end-users, quality assurance personnel and other key stakeholders concerning the use and operation of IT systems

• Coordinate the activities with our stakeholders in the QC laboratories

• Development projects in clarifying which solutions will be possible to implement within the systems according to the current regulatory requirements

Do you have what it takes?
To be successful in this role, we believe you can tick most off the following requirements:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Pharmaceutical, Science, IT or other relevant field

• Knowledge of IT compliance area within highly regulated environment, including a solid understanding of GMP and GxP standards

• Proven ability to effectively manage projects and demonstrate project management skills

• Extensive experience in stakeholder management in a complex environment is required

• Preferably, experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar field, with exposure to both laboratory and production environments

• Experience with Agile methodologies would be advantageous
