HVDC Care & Warranty department deals directly with the customers of our already commissioned sites to provide support and problem solving for all issues related to the HVDC Control & Protection systems and Operational Technology (IT Infrastructure). How you`ll make an impact
- Develop and implement design solutions for our diverse install base of HVDC Control & Protection systems and Operational Technology
- Perform verification of our solutions – executed in test labs and on site
- Interfacing with our existing customers to fault-trace issues and prepare technical solutions
- Collaborating with a broader team of like-minded co-workers and experts to give the best results to our customers
We’re looking for an eager engineer and problem solver who realizes collaboration is key for success. You will be part of a team where we work together to support our customers for problem solving and fault tracing, as well as delivering partial upgrades and new functionality to existing equipment. The work consists of collaboration in small teams with members from all over the world.
Many assignments consist of a customer site visit to implement and verify the solutions we design, which means there is ample opportunity to travel globally.
Your background
- You may hold a university degree applicable to the work within HVDC Control systems (e.g. Electrical Engineering, IT systems, Operational Technology, Computer Science), or have work experience from similar roles
- Equally important is your inner drive, and ability to get things done. For us, that means that you are a driven problem solver who eagerly takes on new tasks and enjoys the challenges of engineering
- Having a strong interest in global travel and experiencing different cultures is beneficial
- Strong communication skills in English, competency in Swedish is also favourable.
