As our new Project Manager, Store Design – APAC, you will implement and coordinate retails projects, ensuring highest possible quality from start to finish
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to scale and roll out of Bang & Olufsen’s new global store concept
- Write creative briefs and align with local markets
- Gather key stakeholders and ensure transparency throughout projects, communicating progress and risks and solutions
- Set up realistic project time frames and ensure the project adheres to the deadlines
- Oversee project budgets in detail, communicating spending reports to Finance and other key stakeholders
- Rethink and optimize work processes to deliver projects on time
- Oversee the day-to-day relationships with external contractors and subcontractors
- Partner with Procurement teams to ensure contractual agreements are setup and in good timing
- Set up and oversee local production of fixture and furniture
- Oversee the establishment process when building Bang & Olufsen’s own stores
- Create store opening reports
- Ensure consistency in store design across markets and regions
- Ensure a hard-working and innovative, yet positive work environment for our designers
What you bring
You are an experienced project manager who knows how to set up timelines, write minutes, manage budgets and effectively communicate progress and easily for key stakeholders.
Moreover, you bring:
- Minimum 4 years experience working as a dedicated project manager, within a relevant creative function and preferably you hold experience from larger store-built projects and hold an educational degree in construction or architecture.
- Experience delivering complex, global retail programs and have overseen retail fixture programs in a premium or luxury retail sector
- Familiarity of evaluating design requests and briefs for feasibility, resources and budget. A sharp eye that investigates projects at the start and will create back briefs to achieve alignment between stakeholders and designers
- You like to stay up to date on the latest trends on both project management and retail, and understand the common issues facing retail teams and programs, particularly when it comes to scaling projects; bringing concepts from the design phased to production and execution
- Proven experience working with creatives teams; guiding processes in design teams or art departments
- Extensive stakeholder management experience; coordinating cross-functional project teams in an international environment. You enjoy developing new ways of working to enhance existing teams’ productivity.
- An appreciation for design and have a general interest in decisions around CMF. You can track design decisions and ensure the work from internal and external designers meets our standards and the brief
- Comprehensive presentation and communication skills, online or in-person, efficiently conveying ideas to a diverse audience
- Extensive experience using project management and presentation tools such as Microsoft Projects, Trello, Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint etc.
- Fluency in English is mandatory

The Global Store Design team is a growing team currently formed of nine people who are responsible for designing and implementing Bang & Olufsen’s store concept, pop-ups and physical brand experiences globally under the leadership of the Global Head of Store Design, which you also will report directly to.
