Eurowind Energy is a Danish limited liability company, which over the years has become a leading developer and operator of photovoltaic, wind turbine and P2X projects. The company has over 2GW of operating assets under management in 16 countries across Europe and has been increasing its presence throughout the European market, including Italy.
Due to our recent growth in development, construction and operation of renewable power plants in Italy, we are currently looking for an Asset Manager for the Italian market. This job offers you the possibility of being part of a growing technical and commercial team, who backs other group’s affiliates, while working on a fast growth “scaleup environment” backed by a large international group.
Primary responsibilities:
Based in Milan, the Asset Manager will fit in a matrix structure, reporting functionally to the Global Manger Technical Asset Management (Wind) and hierarchically to the Country Manager (Italy).
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Negotiate O&M and other asset management related agreements before Financial close.
- Supervise O&M contractors and external consultants involved in the Operation and Maintenance activities of renewable power plants;
- Monitor the plants’ performance – remotely and physically– through adequate KPI's, detect and solve issues on a permanent basis;
- Identify actions and measures to maximize the performance and to extend the lifespan of the assets;
- Manage the relationship with all the involved stakeholders during the operation period (e.g. energy off-takers, grid operators, O&M Contractors, landowners, lenders, Agenzia Dogane, among others);
- Prepare O&M reports for internal and external stakeholders in accordance with relevant agreements;
- Work in close cooperation with the Development and the Construction teams, since projects’ early stage, to assure best practices during operation phase;
- Support selected aspects of Asset Management activity in our other geographies, if necessary, on an interim basis;
- Liaising with the Global Asset Management team based in Denmark, contribute to the global asset management team and strategy.
The mandatory profile:
- University degree, preferably in Engineering;
- Fluent in Italian and English;
- 3+ years of work experience in a similar role ideally within the solar and/or the wind power industry;
- Excellent communication and liaison skills with the proven ability to effectively interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Proficiency in MSOffice and other relevant computer tools;
- Strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Ability to work with several projects in different geographies at the same time.
Furthermore, the following experience/skills will be valued:
- Ability to perform minor technical interventions on site
- Experience with renewables’ asset management software
- HSE certification for Italy
- Storage and P2X knowledge
- Written and oral communication in other languages
