We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sustainability Specialist.
You will be part of the Sustainability Operational excellence team, focusing on all regulatory requirements to protect and support the ISCC chain of custody. As part of the team you will help to keep a global view of sustainability operations requirements, be a big part of the team and on the daily hands on execution, whilst coordinating cross-functionally to ensure the end-to-end sustainability process remains robust.
Main responsibilities:
- Have a great compliance focus within the Sustainability Operations, liaising specifically with the trading and operations department as key stakeholders.
- Perform day to day document revies and reconciliations to make sure we comply with the regulations and complete accuracy of our data.
- Be part of projects to optimize green fuel subsidies & penalties ensuring we remain cost competitive in all locations.
- Ensure month-end processes are maintained whilst maintaining adequate information flow to Trading and Product Control to manage pricing and exposure.
- Work together with rest of the department to ensure the end-to-end Sustainability Operations process is realistic and executable.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate has experience in a similar role. For example, within one or more of the following areas: Oil & Gas operations, bunker barge operations, shipping and servicing customers in a BtB environment. Additionally, we believe you will see yourself as someone with a strong attention to detail, consistency in task execution, solid interpersonal skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
Additionally, we would like you to be able to work independently, coordinate with various teams and roles, investigate issues, and ensure tasks are completed on time. You are comfortable working in an international environment and can easily adapt to changes in a dynamic, fast-paced work setting.
To succeed in this role, we believe you need to
- Be a team player with the ability to easily work cross-functionally as part of a virtual team where everyone pulls in the same direction.
- An energetic, pro-active, commercially minded colleague who is familiar with operating in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
- Experience with controlling tasks, accounting or audits is a requirement.
- working within an ISCC framework covering green fuels with an expert understanding of ISCC audits and mass balance operations is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Excellent communication skills for engagement with global stakeholder
- Being curious and solution-oriented

Duration: The contract is for 6-8 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.
Salary: Based on qualifications
Working hours: 37 hours per week
