We are looking for a new Product Sales Specialist - Meat Preparation
About the job
As a Product Sales Specialist in Meat Preparation, you will be the go-to expert supporting local product specialists and sales teams with specialist knowledge on specific product-market-combinations (PMCs). Your focus will be on Marel's advanced portfolio of Meat Preparation equipment, including Grinders, Mixers, Buffers, Emulsifiers, and Fat Analyzers.
You will work closely with sales teams and customers to identify needs and propose tailored solutions, including drafting preliminary layouts for equipment configurations. As a knowledge hub, you will bridge the gap between market demands and internal innovation, helping Marel maintain its leadership in food processing solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Support local product specialists and sales teams with expertise in Meat Preparation equipment.
- Deliver training to sales teams and product specialists.
- Identify opportunities for new or improved PMCs and collaborate with innovation teams.
- Gather and analyze market, product, and competitor insights.
- Build and maintain internal and external networks to ensure knowledge-sharing.
- Participate in exhibitions, demos, and events to promote Marel’s solutions.
About you
You are passionate about technology and the food processing industry, bringing a blend of technical expertise and customer-focused enthusiasm. You thrive on problem-solving and innovation in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agri-business, food technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in service technology, product management, or technical sales.
- Strong affinity for technology and the agricultural sector.
- Analytical, customer-oriented, entrepreneurial, and team-focused mindset.
- Fluency in English (additional languages like German, Spanish, or French are a plus).
- Willingness to travel internationally (20-40% of the time).
