Ferring+You

You will manage and drive the execution of high quality, cross-functional global plans for Ferring’s pipeline development effort and apply project management best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control, closing of projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring high quality and timely R&D input to the Corporate Business Plan, and for ensuring accurate and timely reporting from R&D to the Exec Board, the R&D Committee and the Ferring Holding Board.

Your day at Ferring

• As the Head of the Global Project Management, you will manage a team of Project Directors and Managers, whose role is to control and execute the R&D projects with speed and high quality. You will manage the Project leads to drive development projects – by defining scope, timeline and budgets for the projects, defining personal and project annual objectives, and by guiding the operational activities.

• You will be responsible for the timely delivery of R&D development projects, using robust, standardized and effective project management methods aligned with global standards. You will also use KPIs and other metrics to meet the Company’s overall R&D Project Prioritization targets. Moreover, you will ensure effectiveness of project management principles, procedures and processes, including stage gate reviews, to deliver enhanced business solutions on assigned projects.

• You will be responsible for the projections and tracking of progress of projects in the portfolio using agreed metrics to be used in R&D governance meetings, including prioritization of resources, budget and activities. Part of projection activities are preparation, finalization, follow-up and reporting of the annual business scorecard entries related to project portfolio.

• Through the Global Development projects and their teams, you will oversee the external budget of +€100M EURO in project execution costs with +400 FTEs in resources in Global territories

• As the Head of the Project Management, you will deliver Executive reports including 1) the Quarterly Holding Board R&D Committee Review, 2) the monthly CSO Reports on project progress, 3) the Monthly Global Project Management reports.

Behind our innovation…There’s you

• 10+ years’ experience in managing projects and programs in a complex environment. PhD level or MBA

• Excellent communication skills. Proven leadership qualities in developing teams and building relationships

• Excellent knowledge of key non-technical processes e.g. Strategy Documented understanding of project mgmt. in a highly regulated environment preferably life sciences

• Driven by high quality results in a matrix and collaborative environment.
