ISC Rådgivende Ingeniører A/S
Are you eager to apply your strong organizational and structured skills to ensure processes and details are in place, enabling your team to win international offshore projects? Can you take ownership of delivering a final proposal that meets client expectations and upholds our company's standards across technical, financial, and legal aspects?
Then we are looking for your drive and your competencies to join our department in Copenhagen.
Team spirit and high responsibility
As our new Tender Manager you will become an important part of the renewable team and maintaining of procedures and best practises for tenders from international clients. You will have many touchpoints internally in our organisation and externally you will engage with clients during phases of a tender. You will work in co-creation with the Vice President in the Renewable Energy department, Andreas Laungaard, and other senior members.
In the Renewable Energy department we value an informal tone and strong cross-disciplinary collaboration, so you will be part of a work environment where we share knowledge and support each other.
In ISC, we work multidisciplinary and we often say that we are driven by knowledge and advice that challenges and holds up, and we are well aware that any construction is only as strong as its individual components.
Your tasks
In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the success of our proposals for international offshore projects, ensuring that client tenders are met with thoroughly vetted and professional submissions. As a Tender Manager, your focus will be on managing processes and preparing all phases of the proposal process, while also contributing to business development and improving the way we approach tenders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the tender process for offshore renewable energy projects.
- Work closely with project stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure that all aspects of the project are covered and that deadlines are met.
- Develop and refine proposals, ensuring continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
- Manage the overall structure of the tender submission, ensuring the process is streamlined and that the final proposal meets both client expectations and company standards, covering technical, financial, and legal aspects.
It’s important to highlight that you will collaborate closely with a team of specialists and legal advisors, who will take responsibility for the technical and legal aspects of the tender. Your role focuses on coordination and ensuring a smooth process, while these specialists handle the specific details in their respective areas.
Your work will primarily be based at our premises at Østerbro in Copenhagen. However, the role may occasionally require travel to attend client and partner meetings, participate in industry events or support other business development initiatives.
Your qualifications
We expect you to be a team player motivated to take on new work tasks with a dedicated approach. You are service oriented and focus on delivering results by diving into details while maintaining an overview. Over time, you'll develop strong commercial insight and technical knowledge, balancing the company’s interests with customer focus to drive successful outcomes.
Also, you bring the following qualifications:
- You have a background in engineering or a related technical field and an understanding of how to manage big tenders for large-scale international projects.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively reach out and work with various project teams.
You will be gradually trained and supported to develop the necessary skills to coordinate large tenders over time. But if you have the following qualifications, it will put you further up on the list:
- You have a course in international business or similar.
- Previous experience in managing proposals for projects within engineering.
Ultimately, it’s your personal competencies, such as strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to coordinate effectively, that are of greater importance.
Success criteria after three months at ISC:
- You have been involved in large proposals and have gained experience and learned about the scale and execution of the tasks.
- You have shown interest and flair for the tasks at hand.
- You are happy and enjoy coming to work.
A technically strong workplace with room for innovative ideas
In ISC we value a work environment that encourages both deep focus and big ideas, where the organization provides the support you need to succeed. Our experienced engineers are ready to both teach and be inspired by your input and ideas.
Additionally, you can look forward to:
