Kraftvaerk is making strategic investments in AI and data, and we are looking for a person that will be central to coming projects and our bet.

We are looking for an experienced Data engineer (Architect) to join Kraftvaerk. In this role you will be both building data products and advising our clients in complexities of AI. You will be a significant player in further establishing our AI and Data capacity. We are known for delivering value to our customers by shipping high quality software, rather than glossy presentations.

You will be working closely together with a team of best-in-class developers, architects, designers, and QA specialists located in Helsinki, Copenhagen, Aarhus and Lisbon.

We are looking for someone that can:

• Build solutions in the data space. This might include data engineering or basic data science. It might be integration with existing systems or leveraging of AI solutions.

• Together with others help customers map out their needs in the data and AI space. Understanding business and processes as well as assessing technical systems. Advise on how to achieve business outcomes using data and AI.

• Be comfortable with learning new areas and new technologies adjacent to what you already know.

• Help build Kraftvaerk’s capacity within data including knowledge sharing, recruitment and investments.

• Participate in pre-sales activities to meet our customers and help paint a vision of how we deliver value as well as pitch potential projects.

Your experience:

• Ample experience with building and deploying data products.

• Knowledge about and experience in working with either AWS or Azure (preferably both) with a good understanding of what these platforms can offer

• Comfortable in building data pipelines and doing data transformation

• A good understanding of how to integrate AI products such as LLMs into bigger data solutions

• Being a technical leader. Setting technical direction for a team and be comfortable advising a customer on their strategic technical choices

• Comfortable with being hands on setting up ETL processes, data modelling and data governance

• Have an eye for what excellence looks like in the data space. A good understanding of how a high-quality solution is built.

• Previous roles as a consultant
• Helpful if you have previously worked with analytics

This role is based in Copenhagen. At Kraftvaerk we are flexible with work location, and there is plenty of opportunity for working from home, but we hope that you will come in and join the community at the office. During periods you might have to be on site with one of our customers.
