We are conducting a search for Tjekvik, which is seeking a hands-on and growth-oriented CFO to join their leadership. The CFO will play a significant role in achieving Tjekvik’s strategic growth objectives, including scaling operations, building robust financial processes, and ensuring profitable growth. You will be an integral member of the leadership team, working closely with the CEO and other senior executives. This role will also involve close collaboration with the Board of Directors including representatives from software focused private equity fund Standout Capital.
Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:
- Managing Financial Operations:
Take full hands-on ownership of running and developing Tjekvik's finance operations. Own financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and insightfulness for internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors. - Strategic analysis:
Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to evaluate growth opportunities, optimize financial performance, and contribute to strategic decision-making. - Operational Excellence:
Build and manage robust financial systems and KPIs to ensure scalability, and efficiency to support the company's growth trajectory. - Business Development and M&A:
Lead and support financial projects that enhance revenue, reduce costs, and identify new business opportunities, including M&A activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate is expected to have a finance or business-related education at BA or MA level, but experience from a relevant role is more important. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to have:
- Proven experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing financial strategies that align with business goals within a fast-growing company.
- Proactive and commercial mindset, can demonstrate a track record of having brought commercial improvement initiatives into action
- Strong analytical and strategic capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to structure and process complex data to draw insightful conclusions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of working closely with executive teams and providing strategic financial guidance.
- Good understanding of SaaS KPIs and their impact on P&L and cash flow.
- Experience with M&A activities and working with international subsidiaries is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial systems, data analytics, and BI tools.
- Native experience in Danish Accounting and financial laws
