Going into the role, you will be responsible for heading up a team of 16 talented responsible engineers. You will be an important part of the Plant Engineering team, where we are responsible for the utilities, waste systems, drains, temperature-controlled rooms, and HVAC. Together as a team, we build a trusted culture supporting each other wherever possible.

People and manufacturing processes
Your mindset is crucial to succeed in the role. To deliver utilities systems to support the production of high-quality medicines, we must constantly improve the way we work. Therefore, this job requires you to have an interest and knowledge on how to drive the right culture to ensure that we are constantly improving our current state. Daily focus on safety, quality and continuous process improvement are the core of your responsibility.

Additionally, you will:

• Ensure the development and improvement of systems related to Plant Engineering.
• Coach and develop team members of all levels.
• Ensure a smooth and respectful collaboration with stakeholders cross functional.
• Promote and support systematic problem solving and continuous improvement on shop floor.
• Being a visible leader on shop floor.

Experience in Leadership and Pharmaceutical Production
We are looking for a candidate who brings 5+ years of leadership experience, and it will be an advantage if your educational background and/or knowledge are within the pharmaceutical industry.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who brings experience in working within a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture grounded in the LEAN approach. Familiarity with tools such as Value Stream Mapping, LEAN events, Fishbone, A3, and KPI Board Meetings is highly desirable.

In collaboration with the Plant Engineering & Systems (PE&S) leadership team, you'll be instrumental in setting direction and acting to foster a CI culture within our area. This CI culture is a vital foundation for managing the scaling up of production capacity at FUJIFILM.

• English skills, fluent spoken and written.
