Sourcing Manager - Driving innovation in IT sourcing strategies

Join our sourcing team
We are an organization undergoing significant development and central changes, which require us at Norlys to work together and adapt strategically. Therefore, we are looking for a Sourcing Manager with a focus on IT for our Sourcing team at Norlys.

Here you will be part of a team of 12 colleagues, whereas you will work closely with your three colleagues who have a focus on IT. Moreover, it is a team with a high priority task in developing the processes surrounding the major change management task Norlys have, concerning one of Denmark’s greatest integrations with Norlys and Telia Denmark A/S.

Your colleagues are located in Aarhus, Silkeborg and Copenhagen. So, you can expect some traveling to different locations. Lead sourcing excellence
Depending on your experience and skills, you will be responsible for conducting RFx processes, managing your own projects from start to finish with support from the team. In addition, you work together with the team and category managers to develop procurement strategies and action plans within specific areas and categories. Your primary focus will be on sourcing, with some involvement in strategic planning, so a solid understanding of both is essential.

Your primary tasks will be centered around the following:

• Strategic IT sourcing, supplier management, and supplier development
• Collaborating with the business and Category Managers on commercial decisions
• Stakeholder management
• Participating in weekly category meetings to share priorities and knowledge

Are you community-oriented?
You ideally have a master's degree or a professional background within IT sourcing. Maybe you have spent the last few years as a strategic sourcing specialist or sourcing manager and are seeking to explore new opportunities. At the same time, you already have a general understanding of IT in procurement and seek to develop this understanding further.

The most important thing is that you are committed and community-oriented, and that you have the following personal qualities that will make you successful in the position:

• You are systematic, structured, and can think new solutions and opportunities.
• You have business understanding, are good at building relationships and networking as a trustworthy and confidence-building collaborator at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Additionally, you are proficient in English both in writing and speaking at a negotiation level.
