We are looking for a high performing Senior Sales Manager to help meet our customer’s acquisitions and drive the sales process through close collaboration to develop tailored solutions that fit their needs. Svanehøj is one of the world's leading manufacturers of pumping solutions for the marine industry. Our Deepwell cargo and fuel pumps are uniquely designed to handle different types of cargo, and our pumps for the product and chemical tanker segment are tailored to solutions for a wide range of liquid products. In addition, our service department supports first-class service on all our installed pumps in connection with docking, onboard service, and annual calibrations.

You will be part of an exciting, international company with approx. 480 employees in offices in Denmark, the UK, France, Singapore, China, US, Dubai, Holland and Japan. In Denmark, there are approx. 240 committed employees at our head office in Svenstrup and our office in Frederikshavn.

Strong sales profile with commercial interest
The growing demand in both the maritime and land-based segments is driving the need to strengthen our Energy Sales team. We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with commercial interest for our sales department in Svenstrup.

Your responsibilities include new sales of Svanehøjs pumps portfolio to the Energy segment worldwide in cooperation with the Svanehøj sales team, Sales offices and agents as well as handling promotion and sales activities for new and existing customers. Your tasks will furthermore include:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and conduct market and trend analysis
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for selected segments
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions
  • Drive business cases within offshore, onshore, and product and chemical tanker segments.
  • Transfer of qualified and relevant qualifications to our technical sales support

Your tasks will also include building relationships with new and existing customers particularly at customer visits and exhibitions abroad. Here, you will need to utilize your naturally approachable and relationship-building personality, as you take pride in prioritizing the customers.

Senior Sales Manager with experience in strategic sales
As a person, you are collaborative, flexible and have a commercial mindset. You have a good overview and are structured at the same time as you are passionate about good customer service. You are known for your high-quality level and ability to build up relations with customers. You can handle the pressure of a fast-paced sales environment well and can work with multiple tasks simultaneously. You are a team player and thrive on being a part of a team where everyone contributes. Furthermore, you have:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience within strategic sales
  • Knowledge of project sales
  • A keen eye for details
  • Flair for technical details
  • Good communication skills on high level English

Preferable you have experience within the maritime or land-based sector. As the job requires travel to meet customers worldwide at exhibitions and shipyards, you must be able to travel with short notice approximately 50-60 days a year.
