Your responsibilities
In this role, you will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing and, together with your three skilled employees, drive Struers‛ global focus on best practices in sales processes, sales management coaching processes, and funnel management. You will be responsible for the Sales Academy, governance structures, and the further development of processes within the CRM system.
You will be part of a global matrix structure and will establish close relationships with local sales directors in the regions as well as general managers. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other functions at the headquarters in Ballerup, such as product management, business applications & solutions, service, and marketing.
As the team leader for the global matrix sales team, you will be responsible for leading and directing the implementation of processes, roles, and responsibilities on a global scale. You will also be responsible for driving the change process in transforming Struers into a more value-selling company, rather than solely focusing on product sales.
Other tasks include:
- Strengthening Struers’ Value Selling and the sales management coaching process.
- Improving the need assessment and offering processes.
- Developing tools and processes for the Sales Academy to achieve an overall educational compliance ratio.
- Maximizing the focus on sales optimization based on customer loyalty measurements through the CRM/CEM platforms.
- Implementing a new CRM tool, transitioning from Pivotal to another platform.
- Furthermore, you will develop, maintain, and support monthly KPIs to meet compliance targets.
You will be measured on global KPIs such as Sales Funnel value/hit rate, Customer Loyalty Score/NPS, and growth in high-volume accounts. Additionally, it is important that you understand the processes and tools that your department needs to support – including the needs of account managers and customers.
Your Experience and Skills
We expect that you have a technical or commercial background on bachelor or master level. A successful candidate has a proven track record in systematic sales management, process development, and competence building. Additionally, experience in optimizing sales funnel management and improving sales efficiency is highly valued. The role requires experience in Key Account Management, specifically handling high-volume accounts (HVAM). Strong knowledge and user skills in CRM system platforms are essential.
You should have a background in sales excellence and value selling, along with experience in customer experience management or customer journey design. A solid commercial understanding of international business-to-business operations, particularly within industrial technology products, is an advantage. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a global business environment and possess a strong understanding of cultural differences. Experience in working within a matrix organization is also an advantage.
