About the job?
As our International Sales Manager, you’ll be an integral part of a dynamic, collaborative team, playing a key role in shaping the future of corporate events in Copenhagen. You’ll work closely with Wonderful Copenhagen and other stakeholders to secure high-profile international corporate events, conferences, product launches, celebrations, customer events, sales kick offs, exhibitions and more at Bella Center Copenhagen.

In 2025, we’re setting the stage to host an exciting record number of global industry leaders and high-profile events like Wind Europe, Digital Transformation World, Tech BBQ – just to name a few. Get ready to contribute to the success of events that attract from 300 - 20,000 attendees and showcase industry leaders.

Your role will be focused on driving business development in international markets. You’ll actively pursue high-potential segments, network at major industry events like IBTM and IMEX, and collaborate with industry stakeholders to secure key contracts. You’ll be the trusted lead in responding to RFPs, creating personalized proposals, and building lasting partnerships.

Tasks
Among others, your tasks will consist of:

  • Crafting and executing business development strategies for the International Corporate Segment
  • Attending industry-leading events like IBTM and IMEX to expand your network and engage with global influencers.
  • Managing Key Accounts
  • Preparing and presenting complex proposals that win clients over in response to an event specific RFP (Request for Proposal)
  • Hosting site inspections
  • Negotiating high value contracts
  • Taking ownership of forecasting & budgeting for your event portfolio.

About you
To be successful in this exciting position, you’ll bring:

  • Proven success in sales, ideally within the meetings & events industry.
  • A natural relationship builder who thrives in connecting with people.
  • Expertise in responding to RFPs and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen and insight into the corporate events market.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Fluency English, both written and spoken. Fluency in Danish is an advantage.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Sales.
  • A passion for collaboration, attention to detail, and a drive to excel.

How does the role fit into our organization

Our Commercial Team has the following areas of expertise:

  • International Sales Team: focus on Associations and Corporate Events (where this role sits)
  • National Sales Team: focus on Associations and Corporate Events
  • Bella Presents: focus on own produced events (such as Bogforum and Copenhagen Gaming Week) and National Exhibitions
  • CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair)
  • Planning Team: The link between Sales and Operations, working with clients to deliver the events secured by all of the above Sales Teams.

-> Hotel Brands
Our Hotel Field Sales Team is responsible for business development across our 3 international hotel brands - Copenhagen Marriott, Crowne Plaza and AC Bella Sky. Each hotel has an on-property Conference & Events department.
