About the role
Join our Project Management area, a team of approximately 450 highly skilled project employees. Your daily work will primarily take place in Kalundborg, and your base will be at our home zone in Kalundborg.

How you might spend your days
As a Senior Construction Manager, you’ll be
- Safety and Compliance: Adhering to health, safety, and environmental guidelines across all sites. Focusing on safeguarding the well-being of employees and maintaining occupational safety standards.
- Integration and coordination strategy: You will embed safety into site operations, aligning with NNE’s Construction and Commissioning strategy through collaboration with WPO, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Quality and Compliance: Upholding NNE’s quality system for site construction management, standards, methods and ensuring consistent excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder & Resource Management: Managing site operations, construction planning, and resource allocation to meet customer expectations, while prioritizing key resources with Line and Project Management.
- Construction Management & Team Development: Support and foster the development of self-leading teams to ensure effective collaboration to successful execution of construction projects.
- Site Teams: Organize site teams for optimal use, offering feedback and supporting team development.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Relevant M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineer or similar.
- 10 years of experience in Site and Construction management, primarily in large process projects. Preferable from pharma & biotech industries but not a requirement.
- 10 years of experience in project cost monitoring, performance control and proactive risk management
- Formal management/leadership education is an advantage.
- Proven track record being overall responsible for large complex projects with teams of up to 10 FTE throughout all project phases from inception to hand over.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
