Junior Financial Controller (m/f) - Milan (Italy)

Eurowind Energy is a Danish limited liability company, which over the years has become a leading developer and operator of photovoltaic, wind turbine and P2X projects. The company has more than 1.900 MW of operating assets under management in several countries across Europe and has been increasing its presence throughout the European market, including Italy.

Due to our recent growth in development, construction and operation of renewable power plants, we are currently looking for a Junior Controller. This job offers you the possibility of being part of a growing team, while working on a fast growth “startup environment” backed by a large international group.

Primary responsibilities:
The Junior Controller will report to the Finance & Controlling Manager.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Maintain accounts receivable: invoices issuance and electronical submission. Monitor receivables.
• Maintain accounts payable, monitor the approval process and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Prepare bank transfer and any other necessary payment. Cash Flow monitoring.
• Prepare VAT liquidation on a monthly basis
• Update financial records via Navision D365 accounting software and reconcile GL accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare group reporting in liaison with group reporting team, analyze all adjustments necessary for closing the period ( quarterly and annual).
• Participate actively in yearly budget activities;
• Analyze financial data, ensure accuracy and compliance with local and group requirements;
• Monitoring of the company projects budgets and reporting;
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations efficiency.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting as required.

The mandatory profile:

• Degree in Economics, Management or equivalent job experience.
• Fluent in Italian and in English (both mandatory languages);
• Interest in the renewable energy sector and desire to contribute to a sustainable future;
• Good knowledge of Italian OIC and IFRS accounting standards;
• Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking;
• Proficiency in MSOffice, including MS Excel and MS Word;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively;
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving industry.

Furthermore, the following experience/skills will be valued:

• System migration experience
• Knowledge of Navision D365
