Do you want to direct Information and Cyber Security at the heart of Bunker Holding?
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to manage our Information and Cyber security program and advance our security vision forward. As CISO, you will be central to shaping and implementing our security strategy, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and safeguarding our organization’s digital assets against current and emerging threats.

You will be a part of the IT Management and report directly to the CIO. You will interact closely with key stakeholders across the organization globally to embed a solid security culture and enhance our overall security posture.

About the Position
As CISO, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and managing Bunker Holding’s information security strategy and governance framework. Your main responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership Governance:

• Develop and implement the organization’s information security roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Maintain a robust security governance framework, ensuring compliance with industry frameworks and standards (ISO 27000, NIST CSF, CIS Controls) and regulatory requirements (NIS2, GDPR, DORA, AI Act, CRA, etc.).
• Provide regular updates and reports on security risks, initiatives, and compliance status to Executive Management.

Risk Management Compliance:

• Oversee and conduct assessments processes to identify, evaluate, and mitigate cybersecurity and dataprivacy threats.
• Ensure compliance with current and emerging regulations related to data protection and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.

Security Operations Technology:

• Direct and oversee the implementation of security and compliance controls and solutions safeguarding the organization.
• Ensure effective monitoring, detection, and response capabilities for cyber threats.
• Evaluate and manage third-party security risks, including vendors and business partners.

Awareness Culture Building:

• Promote a vigilant security culture through ongoing awareness campaigns and training programs.
• Act as an advocate for cybersecurity best practices across all levels of the organization.

About You
You are a strategic thinker with extensive technical knowledge and business understanding, capable of balancing security priorities with business needs. You are adept at directing security programs, cultivating effective teams, and engaging in complex, global organizations.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in cyber and information security leadership roles as a CISO or senior security executive.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (ISO 27000, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, NIS2, GDPR, DORA).
• Thorough understanding of ICT risk management and compliance within IT.
• Skilled in engaging with senior executives and board members on cybersecurity topics.

Other Qualifications:

• Academic degree such as MSc in IT, jur., merc.aud. or other relevant education or qualifications.
• Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, CCISO or equivalent.
• Extensive technical proficiency in IT and cyber security, cloud security, and security operations.
• Experience in maritime, logistics, or financial sectors.
• Knowledge of AI security, emerging cyber threats, and new cybersecurity regulations.
• Knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 22301, ISO31000, ISO 38500.

This role is based at our headquarters in Middelfart, Denmark, but requires you on a regularly basis to work from our offices in Copenhagen, Aalborg and Arhus. You furthermore must expect to travel to our core hubs around the world.
