Test Automation Engineer (Tricentis Specialist)
Are you ready to make an impact in 2025? We're looking for a passionate Test Automation Engineer who specializes in Tricentis Tosca to join our dynamic team.
A bit about your new role:
As part of our test team, you will play a key role in implementing automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our SAP solutions.
You'll design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks that support Royal Unibrew's SAP journey, including SAP S/4 HANA.
Your key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies and plans for the SAP S/4 HANA project.
- Play an active role in the entire test lifecycle, including regression tests, upgrades, and validating change requests.
- Partner with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and technical specifications, ensuring alignment and efficient test automation integration.
- Design and implement automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca for a variety of SAP modules, including SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO), SAP Material Management (MM), SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), and integrated applications such as E-commerce, 3PL, and SuccessFactors.
- Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks and scripts to streamline testing processes for key business and technical areas.
- Utilize code repositories to manage and maintain versions of test automation assets.
- Identify, report, analyze, and resolve defects, taking ownership of driving their resolution.
- Contribute your expertise to help build and mature our test team during the S/4 HANA project starting in January 2025, fostering a professional and collaborative work environment.
Principal accountabilities:
- Design, record, implement, and execute Tricentis automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve defects and issues.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance test automation processes.
- Contribute to defining test roadmaps and strategies for the project.
- Help shape and define the development of effective test strategies and planning for SAP projects.
Qualifications and what we hope you will bring:
- Education: A relevant background in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification: ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Solid experience with SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) and modules.
- Hands-on expertise with Tricentis Tosca and test automation tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Java, or C# is a plus.
- Previous experience in international SAP projects is advantageous.
- Other: Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Personal Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for translating complex technical challenges into practical test execution steps.
About your new team:
This position is placed within our Group IT and SAP Applications & Technology Team with a permanent base at our HQ in Faxe.
In the team, you will find our Director Jack Madsen, and his direct reports in four departments, one managing S/4 Transformation, Test & Architecture, one managing all integrations, one managing Corporate Functions and support, and your new department Supply Chain IT. Corporate Functions and Supply Chain IT primarily employ SAP Consultants who today are organized in functional teams, with one in each team appointed Functional Lead.
