COMMERCIAL SALES DIRECTOR – NORTH AMERICA
About the Role
Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) is looking for an experienced Commercial Sales Director to head our commercial activities in North America. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, securing new projects, and building strong client relationships in the USA and Canada. You'll play a key part in standardizing and optimizing sales processes while ensuring alignment with our global sales strategies and operational capabilities.
The position reports to both the Global Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and the Managing Director of North America. This is a full-time, remote role based in the United States, with occasional travel across North America as needed.

Your role
- Lead and optimize sales and tender processes for the North American market, ensuring alignment with global standards and procedures
- Develop and expand the North American sales organization to support all MWS divisions and business units in the region
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for key customers, representing Muehlhan Wind Service across North America
- Implement and enhance our global CRM system (MS Dynamics CRM) to improve customer relationship management and streamline the tender process
- Oversee tender engineering, including advanced budgeting, cost estimation, and financial modeling
- Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and operational teams to ensure strategic alignment, market focus, and identification of preferred projects that match our capabilities
- Ensure global alignment on market focus, customer strategies, and related business development initiatives.
Your current profile
- Proven experience as a senior commercial leader
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong financial acumen, including advanced Excel skills and budget estimation expertise
- Experience building and leading sales organizations
- Wind industry network and experience from a similar role (preferred)
