At Novicell, we are looking for a backend .NET Developer to join our team!
About the job
You will be part of the development team in our Copenhagen department, working closely with 30+ skilled and ambitious employees, including front-end and back-end developers, QA specialists, solutions architects, designers, and project managers.

You will collaborate closely with a team of back-end and front-end developers to help solve business problems for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include developing back-end solutions using .NET, working on tasks such as integration layers, custom applications, and the setup of Azure infrastructure.

In conjunction with architects, designers and strategists, you will advise clients on making decisions about software and infrastructure based on their specific requirements. In Copenhagen we emphasize working in blended teams and learning from perspectives of other practices.

You will develop solutions that require integration across a variety of systems, such as CMS, CRM, PIM, DAM, ERP, and many more.

We build on the MACH-architecture, which means that:

• Microservices – Our APIs consist of micro-service runtimes that communicate, and our integration layers are built on Azure Functions.

• API-FIRST – Our solutions are API-driven, allowing front-end developers to deliver the best possible UX experience on top of the underlying APIs.

• Cloud Native – We use the latest cloud services such as message queues, API gateways, and Function Apps in Azure.

• Headless – Underlying CMSs are used in headless format and the presentation is not dictated by the CMS.

Role and responsibilities
As a back-end .NET Developer at Novicell Copenhagen, you will:

• Refine complex business requirements for our clients, breaking them down into manageable tasks that can be estimated and planned into sprints.

• Advise clients on optimal solutions that perfectly align with their business needs, ensuring a balanced approach to scope, budget, and timeline.

• Collaborate closely with cloud specialists to establish secure, future-proof hosting infrastructure with the necessary performance and scalability.

• Work in tandem with front-end developers to discuss data and requirements, ensuring the creation of well-documented APIs.

• Develop seamless integrations between various systems.

• Partner with QA specialists to ensure a shared understanding and thorough testing of complex business logic.

• Leverage CMS experience to build and configure CMS solutions for our clients, if applicable.

About you
To succeed in this role, we expect that you

• Have several years of experience building .NET solutions.

• Have experience working with the latest .NET technologies.

• Have experience in developing integrations and APIs.

• Have experience working in a consultancy environment or engaging in dialogue with stakeholders. Ideally, you can understand business requirements and break them down into tasks.

• Have experience with Azure Services, such as app services, functions, storage accounts, service bus, API gateways, etc.

• Have experience with Azure DevOps, including build and release pipelines.

• Have experience with CMS systems such as Umbraco, DynamicWeb, or similar.

• Are self-driven, proactive, take responsibility, and follow through on tasks.

• Can contribute knowledge to the team and across departments.
