Your new role
In this position as our new Water Resources Engineer, you will work from HQ in Søborg in collaboration with the other 2 Water Resources Engineers. Your workday will entail a broad variety of tasks related to our Renewables Energies projects both from the office but also at our construction sites. You will be part of our skilled Civil Engineering Team with a focus on knowledge sharing and development.
Areas of responsibility related primarily to Photovoltaic Projects
- Preparation of preliminary flood risk assessments.
- Performing flow modelling and analysis to support hydraulic studies and broader hydrological assessments for climate adaptation.
- Modelling and designing flood risk mitigation measures according to local and company specifications.
- Designing construction layouts and details, in collaboration with other teams and departments within the EPC department and European Energy.
- Communication with external contractors and construction managers for site implementation of measures. Could involve site visits and travelling (10-20 days a year).
- Reporting of results and conclusions.
Your profile
- Relevant education in hydraulic engineering, civil engineering or environmental engineering.
- Min. 2 years of experience from a similar role.
- You are an experienced user in MS Office.
- You have experience using preferably MIKE+ and SCALGO, and you are familiar with GIS.
- You have experience designing with 3D software like Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar.
- You are proficient in English orally and in writing.

Your mindset is structured and analytical and it is natural for you to take responsibility and secure progress regarding our tasks. You are eager to make a difference enabling the green transition.
