As a member of the NCE HSE Team, you will prioritize Health, Safety & Environment in all our activities. We are motivated to constantly enhance the Vestas safety culture, and you will be involved in that journey.

Responsibilities
As the HSE Specialist, you will support Vestas Supply Chain in North Central Europe by ensuring Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance. Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering HSE compliance for warehouses, managing documentation, conducting internal and supporting external HSE inspections/audits, and providing guidance on HSE matters during meetings. You will also support the management team at all levels, handle site compliance and incidents, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented within required timescales and management systems.
Key responsibilities:

  • Collect, validate, report, and respond to HSE data
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation across sites/projects
  • Review and revise documents supporting the HSE Management System
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders on HSE matters
  • Continuously review the company's Safe Systems of Work to implement improvement
  • Support the organization with training, risk assessment, safety committee activities, walks & talks, incident management, and environmental aspects
  • Conduct internal and external audits for ISO 14001 and 45001"

Qualifications

  • You are an experienced HSE Specialist with an interest in joining the renewables industry.
  • You hold relevant education in HSE.
  • Have experience and knowledge in warehousing.
  • You have experience in a similar HSE role within a supply chain activity.
  • You are skilled in interpreting, reviewing, and developing HSE policies and processes.
  • You possess proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, and are prepared to work with new systems.
  • You have a solid understanding of evaluating risks and planning risk management strategies.

  • You can interpret legislative wording and apply it to deliver practical solutions.
  • You have a strong understanding of current European HSE legislation.
  • You possess proficient written and spoken English skills and are an effective communicator, capable of persuading others.
  • You are motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • You have a structured work style.
  • You can coach and deliver training to promote safety culture improvements across the business.

Additional information
Primary work location: Randers, DK. This position requires you to travel to different sites across NCE. Expected travel for this role: up to 80 days per year
