Test Automation Engineer

Join us in this role where you’ll design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable test automation solutions while ensuring they are robust and configurable. Additionally, you'll analyze and define test automation scopes, initiating automation testing from the ground up in alignment with established frameworks.

Welcome to MY CC Software Engineering II
You’ll be part of ACO IT Product Line (IPL) under the SAFe framework where you, together with your colleagues, will implement efficient QA processes under continued improvement. You’ll work transparently with your scrum master, IT product owner, architect and Release Train Engineer (RTE) to ensure quality deliverables in your team on the QA and test automation activities. You’ll play an important role in:

  • implementing and enhancing automation frameworks for UI and API testing
  • performing functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing
  • showcasing knowledge and hands on experience with Requirement Analysis, Coding, Test Management, Test Strategy, Test Planning, Task Allocation, Test Design, Defect tracking, Defect reporting and Root Cause Analysis and Product Risk Analysis
  • collaborating with the Business and assisting in UAT testing for converting business requirements into testable requirements and converting the same as Test Cases and Test Scripts
  • contributing and influencing quality mindset and test automation objectives. Drive the QA process, ensuring test execution aligns with project needs.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have hands-on experience with various testing levels (Functional, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, UAT, Performance)
  • have practical experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and familiarity with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
  • have proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) and developing automation scripts/frameworks, including BDD
  • have coding experience in Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Java, C#, Python, .NET) and performance testing experience with K6 or equivalent
  • have excellent communication skills, able to work independently, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • have experience in Agile Scrum environment.
