Customer Experience & Operations Analyst to McDonald’s in the Nordics (temporary position)

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Experience & Operations Analyst for a temporary position of 5 months (paternity cover). Depending on the candidate, we are open to different solutions, either as a full-time position (37 hours per week), a part-time position (20 hours per week) or you can work as a student-worker.

You will be responsible for reporting and analyzing operational performance KPI’s, supporting business decisions, and collaborating closely with colleagues across the Insights & Analytics team, the Nordic Analytic IT team, the Operational Effectiveness team, and Operations Directors. You will be a key player in maintaining and improving our operational performance tracking.
Key responsibilities include:
- Measure and report on operational performance KPI’s and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Own and analyze operational data, including Customer Satisfaction (McFeedback), Speed of Service and Menu Complexity Index
- Act as an Operations representative in the Nordic Analytic Platform team, supporting with data validation and report development
- Support strategic planning with operational performance insights, working closely with senior leaders in Franchising, the Operational Effectiveness team, and Operations Directors
- Develop new reports and visualizations in Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making
Skills & Requirements
- Experience from the restaurant industry is a clear advantage
- Strong analytical skills and experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders.
- A university degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- Fluent English, both written and spoken is required as our company operates across the Nordic region and English is our business language

Details about the position:
It is a 5-month temporary position (paternity cover) from April to August 2025 with opportunities to contribute to high-impact projects.
Depending on the candidate, the position can be full-time (37 hours per week), part-time (20 hours per week) or a student-worker position.
You will report to Rune Dalgaard, Nordic Lead of Insights & Analytics.
The position can be based in one of our Nordic offices located in Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, or Stockholm.
