Test Automation Specialist for Deloitte

For our customer Deloitte, we are looking for a Test Automation Specialist. With more than 3000 employees Deloitte is the largest audit and consultancy firm in Denmark. They tailor solutions across Audit, Tax, Financial Advisory Services, Enterprise Risk Services and Consulting.

Job Description

As a Test Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and strategies that ensure our clients software solutions meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with development teams to design, implement, and execute automated test cases across multiple systems and platforms. Your role will include integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, identifying areas for automation, and continuously improving the overall testing process. You will also focus on optimizing testing architectures and ensuring that automated tests provide reliable and consistent results. As part of your role, you will contribute to implementing best practices for test automation and quality assurance and support the technical teams in adopting these practices.

Qualifications

You have a strong background in software testing and automation with more than 3 years of experience. You have a good understanding of testing principles, frameworks, and tools, and ideally hold an ISTQB certification or a similar qualification that demonstrates your expertise in the field. You have experience working in agile environments and are comfortable collaborating with developers and other stakeholders.

What you bring to the team:

• Proven experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with the ability to create and maintain automated test scripts.
• Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is highly preferred, demonstrating knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail to identify areas for improvement in both testing and overall software quality.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with developers and stakeholders to foster a culture of quality across projects.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, eager to drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
