Join us in this role where you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our real estate and facilities operations in close cooperation with the RE&FS Organisation. Your mission is to lead strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of real estate and facilities management and implement best practice across VELUX within COE areas.
You'll be part of the Facility Management Operation and Performance Excellence team, leading 9 employees and you will report to our Senior Director of Global Real Estate & Facility Services. Together with your colleagues you will support the line organization in strategy, goal setting, and planning processes, while providing comprehensive facilities reporting and monitoring KPIs, control systems, and analytic tools. You will drive digital transformation, coordinate analysis support for strategic planning, and ensure the development and implementation of policies, templates, and processes. Additionally, you will focus on building capabilities in facilities excellence tools and manage the Facilities COE team to provide the right tools, processes, and support for value creation.
You'll play an important role in:
- leading a team of experts within reporting and process optimization, RE Database development and strategic supplier development
- leading the Real Estate and Facilities COE team, consolidating expertise to ensure best practices and specialized knowledge are implemented with the VELUX organization
- maintaining and continuous optimize the Global Real Estate and Facilities Operating model, ensuring standardized processes and procedures with key strategic suppliers
- ensuring continuous development of performance management processes, KPI’s policies, and tools, focusing on monitoring and analysing performance metrics
- providing analytical support and optimize facilities management, driving innovation and continuous improvement
To succeed in this role, you:
- have proven expertise in real estate and facilities management or related areas (i.e. from consulting), with a strong track record of consolidating expertise and standardizing processes
- are adept at driving change management, facilitating decision-making, and conducting workshops
- possess strong experience in strategic development of FM operating models and driving strategic partnerships
- have experience in leading international teams possessing strong leadership presence
- are analytical, structured, and persistent, with a talent for managing complex projects
- have deep understanding of financial principles, budget management, and risk mitigation
