The role
We are looking for a new Robot Specialist in the United States, preferably South-based.
The purpose of this position is to leverage the healthcare knowledge and experience to successfully service our UVD Robots. This role requires you to be customer-facing and engage with Stakeholders, Partners, US Sales team and your colleagues in the Customer Service Team.
As a Robot Specialist you will be responsible for installation and technical services of UVD Robots including end-user training on-site and supporting end-users in identifying and succeeding with the best possible way to integrate the robots into their workflows. You will also be in close cooperation with our Engineering and Product Development Teams.
Your main tasks will be installation, training, service and technical support of UVD Robots to direct customers and partners, herein under:
- Providing supervision and support to installations, either done directly by Blue Ocean Robotics.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering fast and qualified remote support.
- Installations, corrective and preventive maintenance, repairs and other on-site technical services at customer locations i.e. healthcare facilities.
- Telephone, e-mail and chat support to users, customers and partners.
- Temporary robot installations at exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
- Creation and communication of best practice descriptions, maintenance manuals, guides and other user-facing documentation.
- Delivering technical feed-back from robot installations to our Product Development Team.
- Support Account Managers with demonstrations, trials, customer meetings, etc.
- Analyze, conclude on and present data and results to key stakeholders at hospitals in collaboration with Account Managers.
- Traveling is an important part of the job up to 50-80% of the working time.
Overnight stays will be part of the traveling requirements for this position.
Competencies:
You have experience in service and support of technical products, preferably from healthcare and life science markets. Further skills required:
- Educational background at Bachelor/Diploma level in computer science, electronics, mechatronics, software or equivalent.
- Skilled in using Linux operating systems.
- Good at communicating with customers, users and technical staff.
- Excellent English skills.
- Analytical approach and good at problem solving.
- Teaching and training experience is preferred.
- You will be working with our latest technologies and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Self motivated, structured and productive with a good overview.
