Building the new procurement capabilities through 2025, we are looking for a Sourcing Specialist in Denmark. This role offers the opportunity to drive supplier selection, manage sourcing initiatives, and contribute to a best-in-class procurement function in a dynamic, evolving environment.

The role
As Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the sourcing strategies to optimize procurement operations, manage supplier relationships with assigned suppliers, including negotiations on pricing and contracts, and you will manage sourcing initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness, supply continuity, and in full alignment with business goals. You will build strong networks and foster collaboration with suppliers, key stakeholders, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
Drive efficient procurement processes by managing purchase requisitions, supplier selection, and PO tracking. Ensure timely supply, mitigate risks, and maintain accurate procurement data.

• Lead sourcing projects to drive cost efficiencies and mitigate supply risks for the site
• Review purchase requisitions and align procurement activities for efficiency
• Manage quote inquiries, supplier selection, and issue purchase orders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, EMA) and internal SOPs
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to maintain business continuity
• Monitor procurement KPIs, drive cost-saving initiatives, and provide updates to the Site Procurement Manager
• Collaborate with site stakeholders, finance, and cross-functional teams on procurement solutions, ERP implementation, and process improvements

Skills & Competencies
We are looking for a procurement professional with a strong understanding of sourcing, contracting, and stakeholder management in a regulated environment.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 2–5 years in procurement, ideally within pharmaceuticals or vaccine manufacturing
• Knowledge: Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and EMA regulations
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field (CIPS, CPSM preferred)
• Skills: Expertise in procure-to-pay, strategic sourcing, RFx processes, and contract negotiation
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in ERP and procurement tools (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Medius)
• Languages: Fluent in English and Danish
