Network Security Advisory Consultant

The department:
Aeven Network Advisory & Consulting consists of 75+ resources in Denmark, Czech, Hungary and Philippines, and our primary focus is to give expert advisory on network solutions and help build the same to our customers all around the world.

We are developing existing and new solutions within Network Security, Core and Enterprise. Our customers are within the Life Science industry, Finance, Private & Public.

We are increasingly busy, so we need more hands and brains to support our journey.

The position:
As our new Network Security Advisory Consultant, you will primarily be working on one of our big customers.

The tasks will be among others:

• Analyzing the tasks coming in
• Design the tasks so that they align with the customer’s expectations
• Implementation of the solutions agreed
• Create and maintain a strong customer relationship
• Create and maintain good collaboration with internal stakeholders

It is important to have good communication skills and a service provider mindset as you will work onsite with customers as well as on internal projects.

You will be working from our branch office in either Ballerup, Odense, Århus or Aalborg but will also be onsite with the customer from time to time.

You:
You have a background as M.Sc. In Electrical engineering or equivalent and have at least 5+ years working experience within Network security design and implementation, based on technologies from Cisco and/or Palo Alto. It will be a bonus if you know of or have been working with Next Generation Firewalling or VPN (Remote Access services).

We also expect you to have knowledge in Zero-trust technologies, as we use Microsegmentation tools (e.g. Illumio or Cisco).

Strong skills in analysis, design, implementation, and troubleshooting of these technologies are also required

You can operate with the helicopter perspective, but you are also able to be on the detailed level when needed.

It is important that you speak Danish and English fluently, orally and in writing.

You are a team player and enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment where there is room for your personal development and good ideas. If you are certified as CCIE, CCNP or CCNA, on security that will be a plus.
